Francis DannyFrancis Danny


 Joined PNGHRI in 2009 doing membership database and newsletter work. Later coordinated professional trainings and professional updated seminars. He is currently coordinating the professional studies degree and masters program through strategic partnership with UPNG

He has a Masters of HRM and Bachelor of Art Degree – Env. Sciences from UPNG. He is currently the Executive Officer for PNGHRI managing the entire operations of the institute.



Salome WaloSalome Walo


Has a professional background in Education. Salome holds a Diploma in Teaching, Bachelor Degree in Business and Management – HRM from the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG). Salome has been employed with PNGHRI since 2010. She is currently responsible for Training and Administration Support.





Is an entrepreneur, administrator, and a safety professional with strong determination to make things happen. He believes in creating history than narrating. He has over 8 years working experience in areas of business management, marketing, financial management, project and Human Resource Management. He had worked for Huawei Technologies (PNG) as Administration Manager, Draeger Safety Pacific as Country Service Representative and Panamaseier Resources Pacific as HR & Administration Manager.

A key highlight of his career is been certified by Draeger as Service Technician serving in safety industry; managing, servicing, calibrating and facilitating safety training of Draeger products (gas detectors, Breathalyzes, breathing apparatus (BA), Bauer Air Compressor service, User and Maintenance trainings. Involved in rental and shutdown management of with PNGLNG Down-stream pipeline commissioning team.

Pae holds a Degree in Business and Management from the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG). He is currently (2017-18) undertaking Masters in Human Resources Management at UPNG, sponsored by Taiwanese Scholarship through Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat in Fiji. He has keen interest in Occupational Health and Safety business and wish to pursue this interest after this study. .He is currently attached to PNGHRI as a casual staff to Coordinate 2017 PNGHRI Annual National Conference.



Has commercial and rural banking work experience including savings and loans, small medium enterprises (SME) and microfinance business for over 24 years. He held bank manager positions in PNG Banking Corporation/Bank South Pacific Limited, National Development Bank and ANZ Banking Group (PNG) Ltd, and PNG Banks and Financial Sectors Savings and Loans Society Limited, Luke was Manager HR Consulting and Project Manager who lead the PNG Power Limited SAP Project Team that implemented the PNG Power culture change and realignment program from 2010 to 2012.

 From 2012 to 2014, he was General Manager Human Resources of PNG Power Limited. Luke joined 2015 Port Moresby Pacific Games Limited in 2015 as the Games Business Manager Operations and was in charge of Games business Operations and Volunteers Workforce for the 2015 Port Moresby Pacific Games.

Luke is currently doing his Masters in Human Resource Management under the Brunel Skilim Laif Scholarship program and working part time with PNG Human Resource Institute. He is responsible for Conferences, Workshops, Membership and Support Services of PNGHRI.
